Food Trippin’ In The Mitten: Parchment On The Menu
This time on Food Trippin' In The Mitten, we took a trip to my hometown to feature all of its local food establishments. Parchment, the northern suburb of Kalamazoo, has several dining destinations with their own unique history and appeal. Some have been around for decades and others are fairly new, but have risen quickly in popularity for area residents and visitors.
Here are all the locations we visited, featured in the video above:
- Cornerview Cafe
- Geno's Golden Pizza & Pub
- Oven Works & Pizza Works inside Harding's Friendly Market
- Scooter D's
- Subway - Parchment
- Renzema's Bakery
- Twisters Parchment - Soft Serve Ice Cream
Thank you to all of the owners, managers and team members who allowed us the time to come in, talk to them, and sample their delicious food.
Parchment is a proud community, and when you visit the city, that pride is infectious. Touring my hometown and all of the local food destinations reminded me once again why this is a place anyone in southwest Michigan and beyond should make the time to visit. After all... We Are Parchment!
