Is There A Flaw In Kalamazoo’s New Roundabout On Gull Road?
On November 3rd, the new roundabout connecting Gull Road, Ransom Street, and Harrison Street into one large left-hand turn in an attempt to reduce congestion and accidents. Yet there may be a bit of an 'oops' in the flow of pedestrian traffic.
Traffic seems to have taken to the new traffic configuration easily and so far there have been no reported accidents, everything is moving smoothly. So what's the flaw?
So what is the purpose of these sidewalks? Is there future development in this area that they are planning for Or did the contractor simply forget something?
I'm also curious, is it Gull ROAD or Gull STREET? Google maps say road. What do you think?
