Making Fudge At Kilwin’s In Mackinaw City [VIDEO]

A trip to Mackinaw City for fudge turns into a lesson on how to make it and a chance to try my hand at ‘paddling fudge’. On a whim, I made a trip to Mackinaw City for a quick getaway. I met with James and Wendy Falkner who own both of the Kilwin’s shops in Mackinaw and was even able to help make some fudge (French Silk to be exact). James has been doing this for 23 years! I recruited a camera operator and started recording.

Special thanks to James for being a patient teacher and Wendy, who you see close by in the pink shirt, for allowing me to do this.
