Downtown Grand Rapids was abuzz Wednesday afternoon as news spread that Oprah Winfrey was in town.

Initially it wasn't clear why Oprah would be visiting Grand Rapids, but a representative from the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum confirmed to WZZM-13 that she was here to interview U.S. Rep. Justin Amash (Rep. - Cascade Twp.)

Amash has expressed is opposition to many issues since President Donald Trump took office, including health care and immigration reform.

Rep. Amash's office has not commented on what today's interview was about.
