Power Plant Explosion In Michigan’s U.P. Creates Spectacular Light Display
A Power sub-station in Escanaba exploded leaving most in the area without power but with an amazing light show.
While this explosion happened in 2015, knocking out power and causing rolling blackouts for days in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. As reported in a story from upmatters.com. Fortunately, this is not a nuclear facility. Looking at the beam of light shooting into the sky, it reminds me of a scene from "Independence Day" where the aliens are destroying the White House. No UFO sightings were reported in the U.P. during this explosion. Check out this video of the explosion.
