The Paw Paw branch of the Secretary of State or DMV, Is moving and will open for business on June 19th in a new and larger location.

The new location, pictured above, is literally a stones throw away from the old location. Located less then a 1/4 mile East of the old location and in the same building as Michigan Works.

Paw Paw's branch has always been a best kept secret, with shorter wait times them most other branch locations.

In a release from Michigan.gov, they stated this about the new location.

Customers and staff will benefit from the customer friendly upgrades that include a larger lobby, public restrooms, power-assist door openers, a larger parking area, new counters, paint and carpeting. The new office will also offer 24/7 access to a Self-Service Station, which provides a convenient option for customers renewing their license plate tabs.

Office hours remain unchanged: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday.

Below is a photo I snapped just after the last sign came down from the old location and was packed in a truck. The doors were then locked for good, or at least until the next business comes in.
