After a long week, like a beacon of light at the end of a tunnel, the first Taco & Tequila Festival awaits you 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 29. Local food vendors and restaurants will be at Homer Stryker Field with unique and traditional variations on tacos. The event, hosted by the Kalamazoo Growlers, will also have a tequila sampling bar with many varieties. Those attending will also enjoy live music and other festival type entertainment. If straight tequila is not your thing, there will be beer and tequila infused mixed drinks. A taco judging contest will take place, giving local vendors and restaurant a chance at bragging rights.

Tickets will need to be purchased in advanced and the event is expected to sell out. Special pricing is available for attendees that plan on being designated drivers. Click here for more information on tickets.
