Michigan is known for its beautiful sights and wildlife. But a state that's overpopulated with deer must make changes in hunting rules in order to thin out some of the outrageous numbers.

Recently, a new law was passed in Wisconsin by Governor Scott Walker that allows children of any age to hunt. The new law allows anyone of any age to participate in a mentored hunt and the mentor and student are each allowed carry their own weapon. A 6 year old kindergartner is the first one to take advantage of this new law according to WKRN.com.

The Michigan DNR expects a massive increase in the amount of deer this year. Would all ages hunting be a good thing for our state or do feel some children are too young to handle a gun? Let us know on Facebook.

Happy hunting.
