A Not Spooky Night With Owls
A night outside can be for the birds. If some of the seasons more frightening events are not for you, perhaps W.K. Kellogg Bird Sanctuary's Owl Prowl is more your pace. The Owl Prowl will take place on October 24 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Sanctuary in Augusta.
Visitors will be treated to a special appearance from one of the Sanctuary’s ambassador owls, followed by a nighttime walk along the Sanctuary’s trails to call for owls and listen for their responses.
Those planning to attend should should dress warm as conditions are normally in late October. Admission for the event is $5 for an adults, $4 for students or seniors, and $3 for children ages 2-17 for Sanctuary members, and $7 for adults, $6 for students or seniors, and $5 children ages 2-17 if non non-members.
