First The Song, Now Kellogg’s Makes ‘Baby Shark’ A Cereal
Unless you're the parent of a toddler, you may not know "Baby Shark". It's a kids show, with a, shall we say politely, catchy theme song. Now get ready for a cereal, too.
The folks at Kellogg's are coming out with a "Baby Shark" cereal in August. According to @candyhunting on Instagram, it will be an exclusive, first at Sam's Club on August 17th and then at Walmart in late September. The release coincides with Shark Week. No kidding? NBC says the cereal will sell for $5.98 for 26 ounces.
WGN-TV reports the cereal will be aimed at kids with very colorful pink, blue and yellow loops flavored like berries and with shark-shaped marshmallows.
"Kellogg’s partnered up with Pinkfong, a South Korean educational entertainment company that created the popular song that led to the Baby Shark fame....The Baby Shark song is a catchy, educational song that went viral on different social media sites earlier this year. It became so popular that a TV show was inspired by the song and the “Baby Shark Live!” tour." - WGN-TV
