Have you ever wondered what the upstairs levels of historic downtown Three Rivers looks like? An event is now scheduled called "Upstairs Downtown". Attendees will have the chance to see multiple upstairs spaces in one evening. Friday November 2, from 5 to 8 p.m. The $15.00 ticket price is an opportunity for the Three Rivers Downtown Development Authority/ Main Street to raise money towards the revitalization of Downtown Three Rivers. Some buildings have been beautifully restored, while others are still preserved in their early 1900’s style.

The original section of Three Rivers, including what is now the downtown and some surrounding residential areas, was platted in 1836 by John H. Bowman, prior to Michigan becoming a state. The Downtown Three Rivers Commercial Historic District contains 48 structures. The visually unified and harmonious Late Victorian streetscape gives the district its character.

The Downtown Three Rivers Commercial Historic District is a commercial historic district located along North Main Street, between Michigan and Portage Avenues, in Three Rivers, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

You can purchase tickets at the DDA office at 52 North Main St. Three Rivers, MI.
