It's got groove, it's got meaning and you can sing along with one of the biggest movie musicals of all time when Grease comes to Kalamazoo State Theatre.

It happened so fast. It's been 42 years of summer nights since John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John hit the big screen in 1978 as Danny and Sandy in Grease. If you still know all the words to "Greased Lightning" and remember how to have jive, you won't want to miss this musical trip back to Rydell High. Get your poodle skirt and leather jacket and join the chorus of You're the One That I Want," "Look at Me, I'm Sandra Dee," "Hopelessly Devoted To You," "Sandy" and all the film favorites.

Local performing artists Madison Merlanti and Benjamin Leeka lead the sing along as the film plays on the big screen at Kalamazoo's historic State Theatre. Patrons 21+ will be able to enjoy a full bar with drink specials. (Pink Lady, anyone?) Have yourself a blast and remember, it's more fun with friends. We go together.
