How to Ring a Bell for the Salvation Army in Kalamazoo
Now that the holiday season has arrived, you'll begin to hear that familiar tinkle of a Salvation Army bell ringer. Start a new tradition with your family by becoming a bell ringer as well.
The Gift of Time
While the Salvation Army collects monetary donations in their kettles, it's the time donated by bell ringers that helps to drive those coins and dollars to fill the kettles.
Bell ringing locations are available around Kalamazoo County and the Otesgo/Plainwell area. Shifts are generally two hours, but the Salvation Army will work with your schedule and availability.
The Salvation Army assists throughout the year. In addition to brightening the holidays, the Salvation Army partners with adults and families to empower them and help to overcome poverty.
