With Christmas right around the corner, there are still people out there who are still channeling their Halloween spirit a little longer.

The Christmas Story house, which is located in Cleveland, Ohio has always been synonymous with the holiday, and one woman in Texas is using a classic symbol from that movie to combine Christmas and Halloween together.

She makes creepy versions of the infamous leg lamp and sells them, and is making a pretty good name for herself doing so. Stefany from Sway's Creations said she was watching NBC when the "lightbulb" turned on:

I looked up to see if anyone else had made it and no, I was the first with Sally inspired. and she blew up on Facebook! I had thousands of likes, people begging me to sell them or asking how I did it. I've given a few people help with making their own and most everything is made from scratch. I paint the shade, base, and leg. Everyone is a little different, I don't use the same color or patterns.

What's The Material?

The sock and shoe are made out of EVA craft foam, specifically to fit the foot because they can be different sizes. Her husband does the wiring for her and helps with the other stuff if she wants to speed up the process.

Completion Process

You would think a project like this takes months but with the help of her husband, it only takes about a week or two to finish depending on her schedule and the weather. She's sold nearly two dozen so far and also makes lamps based on other characters, including a female Jack and Beetlejuice, Winifred Sanderson lamps, but Sally-inspired lamps are the most demanded.

You can see her work here. There are other people who have made their own, or bought from her that you can see below:
