Michigan's Empty The Shelter Day Is Near

April 30 is National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day. Local shelters look to raise awareness for the thousands of animals waiting to find their forever home. Even if you are not looking to adopt, there are still ways you can show support. You could consider donating your time, money or pet related supplies to a local shelter. Donations are tax deductible.

On May 4 you can adopt a pet at participating shelters for $25 with the remaining balance covered by BISSELL Pet Foundation. All potential adopters will need to be screened by qualified adoption counselors at every participating shelter to ensure each pet is matched with the right family. Please contact the shelter you wish to adopt from prior to May 4th to complete the screening process.
