Threats of violence continue to plaque schools across the state.
Authorities in Calhoun County are investigating a threat that occurred on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Homer Community Schools. Deputies were contacted by school officials after two hand-written notes were discovered on the walls of two different boys’ bathrooms inside the school.
Richland Police were investigating a mobile home near Gull Lake Middle School, because they believed a marijuana growing operation was taking place. Inside the home, police found things like motor oil and butane gas, which led them to believe that the occupants were using the space to create hash oil.
